Oxfordshire Science Conference
Approaches to teaching Post-16 Saturday 20th March 2010
This year’s Science Festival takes place at Headington School Oxford and addresses a range of issues at post-16 form core science curriculum to presentations about
teaching and learning, progression, transition, enrichment and careers. Delegates will have a chance to hear from key note speaker Dr Sarah-Jayne Blakemore whose research explores “The Teenage Brain.” Other workshops are being delivered by the RSC, Oxford University museums, Oxfordshire County Council, Science Oxford and a number of experienced teachers and heads of science who are supporting the sharing of good practice.
Workshops, exhibitions and displays continue throughout the day in this inspired event brought to you by Oxfordshire County Council and Science Learning Centre South East.
