School Biologist of the Year - 17 March 2009
Twenty eight students, their teachers and guests attended the School Biologist of the Year event on Thursday 17th March 2009. This took place at Oxford University Museum of Natural History in Oxford. Following a tour of the museum, student award winners enjoyed an animated lecture by Dr George McGavin and were then presented with their awards and prizes.
School Biologist of the Year - 07/02/08
Oxford University jointly sponsored School Biologist of the Year, which took place in Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Twenty-six winners from schools throughout Oxfordshire received prizes for the Sixth Form Biologist of 2007-08 at a ceremony on the 7th February at Oxford University Museum of Natural History in Oxford. Professor Iain Campbell, Professor of Biochemistry at Oxford University, presented certificates and book tokens to the winners. Pupils, parents and teachers were also given a lecture and tour of the museum by the Assistant Curator of Entomological Collections, Dr George McGavin.
