GCSE Triple Science Inset - 18/03/08
In response to the government’s interest in rolling out the three separate sciences at GCSE OISSP invited Oxfordshire science teachers to take part in this GCSE Triple Science Inset Seven schools from the Ridgeway Cluster were invited to share and enrich their new schemes of work for the separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology GCSE and to hear from an expert guest speaker from The Learning Skills Network. The Learning Skills Network jointly sponsored this Inset day supported by Lesley Barter of
Oxfordshire Education Business Partnership.
The objectives of the workshop were:
- To provide some background information about the delivery of a triple science programme in schools
- To produce and share schemes of work for each of the three subject areas
- To review the resource material available (much of which is of a very high quality)
