GCSE Applied Science - 26/06/08
A small group of teachers met to discuss this new course and the resources available. The expert guest speaker came from the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, which also jointly sponsored the day.
In response to the introduction of Applied Science as a new GCSE option OISSP organised an Oxfordshire conference at which teachers would be able to find out more about the curriculum and to share their interest, experiences and concerns. We will hear from a leading practitioner as well as being able to share experiences from those schools who have already started this course (AQA or 21st Century). This event took place at The Cricket Road Teachers Centre, Oxford lead by Chris Everall, Specialist Schools and Academies Trust
