Evaluation and dissemination are important aspects of OISSP’s efforts to support partnership activity in schools across Oxfordshire. Through evaluation OISSP has been able to identify the strengths and god practice in many of the projects delivered, to extend elements of the ‘Securing Our Future’ programme and to plan new projects, which best meet the expressed needs of Oxfordshire schools.
Within the ‘Securing Our Future’ Evaluation Report (available below) it is noted that:
“School Heads of Science praised the excellent organisation of events by OISSP. One commented: “The school knows that that if any activity is offered by OISSP, it is bound to be good.” Another said: “Knowing OISSP, I trusted that it would be worthwhile participating, and I was not disappointed”.
Through consultation, network building and careful planning, OISSP has been able to address many of the issues raised through the evaluation process and the subsequent report, lead by Oxford Brookes University, Westminster College of Education.
OISSP aims to continue to support all pupils and teachers in Oxfordshire through the partnership’s work.
