Pupils from Leckford Place School see Earth From The Air
We gave a fond farewell to the Earth From The Air exhibition, which has just ended its six-months’ extended stay at Oxford Castle. OISSP coordinated schools visits to the site from all over the county and around 1,500 secondary school pupils have seen the pictures. Overall, the visits have been a great success; teachers feel that they have had a positive impact on the way pupils see the world and the scope of environmental change. In feedback forms from pupils, comments ranged from how they raised their understanding of environmental issues to how lucky they felt to be in a country such as the UK. Above all, most pupils thought they were simply amazing.
