THE NEW 'BRITAIN FROM THE AIR' EXHIBITION COMES TO OXFORD
Continues 4th SEPTEMBER 2011
Discover Britain like you have never seen it before…
Britain from the Air is a free, open air street gallery boasting a hundred huge aerial photographs of Great Britain, each one selected to reveal the dazzling richness and diversity of our natural and built landscapes. Each photograph is accompanied by illuminating panels that tell the stories of our heritage, bring alive the beauty of our environment and challenge us to confront our changing landscapes and the issues we face today. Oxford Castle is only the second venue to host this spectacular free exhibition developed by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), with mapping support from Ordnance Survey, and Wecommunic8. The exhibition includes over 100 large photographic images with informative text panels and covering themes such as 'Natural Wonders' and 'Our Changing Landscapes'.
