Sustainable Development Conference helps Oxford Schools reduce their carbon footprint
OISSP is supporting the Sustainable Development Conference as part of its long term programme to increase pupils engagement with science and to encourage more students to take up sciences. OISSP Director Tom Kempton comments;
“There is little doubt that the environmental issue is a cornerstone topic in the science curriculum. As we have seen at this conference, the environment also presents a wonderful opportunity for students to apply their knowledge to the real world. Many students involved are already committed to science and I think the conference has added to their enthusiasm while hopefully encouraging others to become more interested in science subjects.”
